Actually something like a God Particle was created on September 19th. Unfortunately it is so small they can't find it. The level of technology they are using allows for discovery to occur at a very dense block of magnetics and lead sheilding, not for any place along the circumference of the ring.

It looks like a small, very small, so small it can pass through solid matter, looks somewhat shiny, and not good for any darn thing.

However, the scientists are working hard to create another one, you know the addage, keep trying till something happens. But when they do smash apart clusters of protons, I think they are hoping to find the glue that keeps things together, with the ultimate goal of making something from something else. Unfortunately the detectors are so massive that if a sustained collapse occurs, there is nothing to halt the progression. And frankly this time, I'm just going to sit back and see what happens.
