The movie "They live" a real life prophecy?

I've said this since it came out and saw it in the theatre as a kid.

The Invasion of the Body Snatchers came out way before that.

This movie has a secret..It came out 21 years ago..You should watch it.

Of course there are enities around. They're not allowed to mess with us, yet.

And you are still just a guy.

Absolutely profound in it's message, even if the acting and cinematic quality is lacking, A MUST SEE movie.

I'm still not convinced they were making sunglasses in that church with all that chemist equipment.....

That was a good movie, but it was too short. It should have continued the story a bit further.

you know I have not seen this flick in years and like 2 days ago it popped into my head. watching it again..O MAN I AM TELLING YOU, WE ARE ASLEEP! BRAINWASHED!!

This flick fits right in with today's world.

Carpenter is getting back into the directors chair.

He has a few projects coming up, LA GOTHIC, The Ward, Riot and something else..not all of them may get made though

I thought he was washed up and toast after Vampires and his Ghost of mars tragedy.

but his episodes on Masters of Horror shows he still has it!

his last really good movie though was in the mouth of madness

They Live is coming to Blu ray soon with a new commentary with Carpenter and some of the actors.

How can you discredit propaganda, by using propaganda such as movie clips, subliminal images throughout the video to make you feel familiarized and warm.

the guy even says "kill your tv" and then admits watching an episode of futurama one night that 'woke him up'

'celtic rebel' lives in his moms basement. plain and simple.

it is propaganda like anything else, polar opposite but EQUAL to the propoganda it tries to discredit.

it tells you 'you need nothing to be happy'. it says you can literally live in a shack, wearing a potato sack and be happy.
