I've been suspicious of the Big Conversion from the beginning. Yesterday, my sister was visiting me. I had the television on in the background. For the past several months I have noticed a beeping sound on the TV, coming during random times and intervals. I've started to note the time, and it's not on the hour or half hour, so it isn't the time tone. It's three sharp beeps, in rapid succession, and it appears on both local programming and cable programming. Well, it did this during my sister's visit, and when she heard the beeping, she said, "My television makes the exact same sound. Also, I've been hearing the same beep pattern on my car radio over the past couple of weeks as well. It makes you think, doesn't it?" and I replied "Yes, it certainly does." I've not heard the beeping on the radio (probably because I don't listen to the radio very much). Has anyone else noticed the beeps on tv or radio?
