This album tells a story about a soldier who suits up to go fight in Iraq. While there his home country collapses and is divided into various statelets, some of which are mostly held by rebels. He returns with orders to help fight the rebellion. He works for a bit as an intelligence agent, gathering data on the rebels. Working with them he becomes aware of the righteousness of the rebellion.

Lyrics from Militia Song:

"Studied mathematics at Berkley
Now I don't like society
Got me a little ol' shack in the woods
Gonna mail you out some explosive goods.

...

I'm the only one that you'll ever need,
To keep the Commy Californians from oppressing ye"

While working for TexSecureIntelliCorp, our hero begins pondering turning to the rebellion.

Lyrics from Talking to this Flower:

"Texas bureau little crew cuts they need me much more.

...

"Maybe I should join the rebels,
At least the chicks are hot."

Having joined the rebellion, our hero makes an oath to the brotherhood.

Lyrics from I Would Fight for Hippie Chicks:

"We would fight for hippie chicks,
We would die for hippie chicks,
We might stop and surf a bit,
But we will fight for hippie chicks."

In the song Civil Disobedience, the pinultimate question is asked:

"When they come to your house,
Are you gonna hide like a little mouse,
You know you're in their files,
But I guess you've know that for a while.

"There's no place for folks like you,
What can you say, what can you do,
So when they come to take you away,
Are you gonna go with them on that day?

"Will you know what to do?
Will you know what to do?
Will you do it?"

In the final track, resigned to his fate, our hero prepares to make a stand against the empire:

"Hey brother, we're on our way,
Hey sister, don't be afraid.
'Cause when we smite them with our swords
In the name of our just lord,
We do bring glory
To his name."

One of you fellow rebels with the skillz needs to download the Civil Disobedience mp3, legally of course, and then make a youtube movie on it. I'm telling you, that song sums it up and it needs to go viral.
