The difference is in other countries you often get something for your taxes, namely universal health care, long-term unemployment or in Germany, for example, the unemployment for the rest of your life if necessary (and enough to have an apartment.)
So many American who are living with friends and family or even in a tent now diligently paid income taxes for so many years. But when they actually need something from state and federal governments NADA, too bad, leave the country if you don't like it (if you can afford a passport a plane ticket that is). |

damn. this is about the FIRST time I've agreed with Trinity.
Go ahead. Don't pay your taxes. Your life will be a living hell.
We owed like $10k awhile back because of an error we made that got compounded. we didn't know we made the error until 3 years later. by then the original $3k mistake became $10k and was climbing. We paid it. After that, I never let my dh do our taxes again.
The thing that pisses the (*#$)(%*&$# out of me is how every *(()&*()#&$% breeder out there gets a refund while we pay what they got back. I f((&*()&*SD h8te breeders!!!!!
I don't mind paying taxes so much if it supports the infrastructure and the way I see it, if we owe more its because we made more. Thank you God! |
