We owed like $10k awhile back because of an error we made that got compounded. we didn't know we made the error until 3 years later. by then the original $3k mistake became $10k and was climbing. We paid it. After that, I never let my dh do our taxes again.

You seem to have missed the fact that income tax is NOT collected under Constitutional or Statute law. In fact, neither can interfere in that 'property right' collection.
It is done under the unalienable property right. It is the harvesting of the fruits of the labor of owned slaves. Law cannot interfere with the exercise of rights, so long as that exercise of rights does not impinge on the rights of others. Filing a 1040 is the accounting by the slave of the State owned labor exchanged for counterfeit money.
The people of the USA are slaves owned by the State , and thus the UNITED STATES, by way of a violation of the property right of the State (which is considered a person, or an entity owned by a corporate person, the UNITED STATES, the corporate administrator of the Vatican owned City of Columbia (DC). That violation is 'attachment as an accessory to State property' without authority. This leaves the attached accessory as also being the property of the State. A man who is property is a 'slave'.
You may believe that you are free, and not a slave; however, Government officers and the corporate IRS DO see you as a slave, and will do their damnedest to entrap and trick you into allowing yourself to be 'identified' by the State owned name, the name you find on Government correspondence to you, and the name you find on the copy of the birth certificate you may have.
If you have a look at all of the court cites posted on the IRS 77 page document of frivolous arguments, you will see that all of the men convicted allowed themselves to be identified by the State owned strawman name. In the property right over owned slaves, once identified as a slave, the case is then 'slam dunk'.

We are a long way down the collective 'rabbit hole', and the only way out is to learn to separate yourself from the State owned strawman name that you must use in commerce.

For dealing with Government officers, such as judges, you need to know the value of the 'in chambers hearing', the right to 'informed consent', (or no consent), and the meaning of 'surrender' as applied to documents in possession. Also, you need to know how to use an affidavit and the claim of right to the use of property in private necessity. The latter nullifies the Government claim that you are State property by way of the legal maxim, accessio cedit principali [an accessory attached to a principal (property) becomes the property of the owner of the principal].

earn your money outside the system. what they cannot see within the system, they cannot claim a penny over. use the system without being part of it, at least income-wise.
i havent paid taxes for 12 years, and none of the money i earn is trackable because i didnt get it from the system.

I have lived 'outside' the system for 40 years...never filed...not once and yes, I pay taxes on everything that you do, I just don't file income.
It is'nt the easiest way to live...outside the system...you must rely on your talents to build/create something that a "slave" would want, ie furniture, food, art ect. and pay for outside the system.
I have always had 'contact' inside the system that would keep avenues open for any payments to me that had to occurr 'inside the system', ie Ebay accounts, ect.

It is pretty much the same in the States as it is up here in Canada. Income Tax should be illegal....but if you don't pay you'll be thrown in jail. It is simple really.
For all practical purposes, the income tax started in the States in 1943 when the Government instituted the “withholding tax” as a temporary, wartime measure and called it a “Victory Tax.” Congressmen would have risked being lynched had they attempted to pass a law, during peacetime that took taxes out of the paychecks of working Americans. However, with 10 million Americans under arms and numerous servicemen dying everyday, how could those on the home front object to a “Victory Tax”? In this manner, Congress was able to pass a tax that was unconstitutional on a variety of grounds,any of which you can look up on the 'Net since there is no shortage of proof that we are illegally taxed....the real prob is that no Judge will ever rule in favor of Joe Shmoe and the federal government has been growing like a cancer ever since. Nothing new here though right? Most people are aware of this, and of course there's alot more that I could type here for you all, but I think it would be obvious.
