Its about the future vs. the past. Not conservative vs. liberal, socialism vs. capatalism etc. I have waited a long time, well 12 years, for a candidate that shared a similar vision of our future. I was a teacher soon after I finished college, and I had all kinds of ideas of taking education to the future. Using technology and other methods more appealing to today's youth. Alas I was far outnumbered by the old school teachers who couldn't imagine not just using books to read. I soon quit and moved on to other things, but hope someday to return when the education system finally catches up to the present. That's just one example but I have noticed this struggle of the old ways vs. new ways going on since I was a child. So when this election cycle rolled around and Obama was presenting new ideas similar to the ones I had, and making full use of modern technology to whoop the Clinton and GOP machine I knew the future had finally arrived. | Anonymous Coward User ID: 659656 04/19/2009 12:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As for the GOP establishment, McCain described it as a "party that was thriving at one point on a few singular issues" but could no longer "see long-term success." Quoting: Reece2076I agree with the premise of her speech but then she said the above which shows she is as clueless as the rest of those pieces of garbage. The problem was that the Republicans lied....plain and simple. They never delivered on anything they said they would. Not one conservative principle was ever given lip service under Bush and even when the republicans controlled both the House and Senate. If there was any justice in this country the Republicans would get sued for breaking a verbal contract. Instead they told the people what they wanted to hear just to get elected and then spent the rest of their time in office enriching themselves and their buddies. While they were enriching themselves they turned all other matters over to the zionist beo-con murdering filth who trashed the Contitution, signed away our nation to the NAU and then joined in the looting of this country. And they wonder why people want to vomit when they hear the Republican word? . |

America is programmed at every level now. The dark ones have even convinced the sheep to dumb down and drug your children. Both parties will be non existant in four years. Your presidental libaries will become halls of shame. You have puppet presidents and your elections are not fair. The US has not been a democracy since its inception. The ruling elite of Europe still control the US. They are only interested in the money you generate. |
