What do you Southerners hate about Northerners?

Southerners have done nothing but whine about Barak, like big fat ugly babies.

And of course the pig flu comes from the southerners and their eating pork ribs all the damm time.

Well then, let me whine some more! In his first 100 days, he has given away BILLIONS of dollars to incompetent, greedy CEOs who have driven their companies into the ground; he promised to sign FOCA into law, allowing doctors to crush the skulls and suction the brains out of full-term babies as they are emerging from the birth canal(otherwise known as late-term abortions), children who would otherwise survive; has sent 50 MILLION dollars overseas to fund abortions; is currently attempting to rescind the conscience clause so that medical personnel, who are fundamentally sickened by the above mentioned procedures will have to either perform them or stop practicing medicine; and, to top it off, he, the President of the United States - a country who bows to no one, kowtowed (that's a deep bow, y'all) to the King of Saudia Arabia! As my son (currently serving in the USN) says, WE DON'T BOW TO SHIT! Well, apparently we do.

As a Yankee, I'll say this much,

We both agree Kalifornia is farked up.

We both agree Hollyeird and the MSM is farked up

Wash. D.C. is farked up and should stay out of peoples personal business.

We both are proud of our regional foods.
(Cant get good pizza or wings or cheesesteaks west of Pittsburgh or south of Philly. Best BBQ and breakfast below the Mason Dixon.)

You got better ridin weather in the South, jealous of that. And for the most part, the roads are in better shape.

There's good hard workers in both places, but, seems got done quicker up North.

Too many dry counties/dry towns down south. Guess bootleggin is still good business.
Seems people want to pretend they drink, but, not in public.

Guy in Miss told me if you have a party and don't want to go through a lot of booze, be sure to invite TWO Baptists, not one.

I must admit though. I do hate only two people in the world. And they are both northerners but in their soul they are deep south as in hell. I often wonder how i will get over my hatred of them. I feel one day i must. Oh well. We'll see what happens.

The never ending attempt to be divisive and insulting. But being from the South, I prefer not to generalize as you seem to prefer to do. Again, another reason to dislike those Northerners who display these mutant personality traits.

It's them cities that breed hate. North or South. The rest of us are just people.

Been my experience, anyway.

maybe because we don't talk like they do. we say pants instead of paints, stuff like that. i've been transplanted to ne tenn, it's a nightmare.

I'm from Philadelphia and all I hear ever about the South and people there is that they are friendly. Well, I've been to Atlanta, Memphis, New Orleans (and rural parts of Florida, before someone accuses me of only visiting big cities.)

Without exception, every single person I met in the South treated me and my family very, very rudely. The cab drivers, the portes at the hotels, the staff in the restaurants...I realize some of you may be thinking that that is simply a thing in any big city, but, as I said, even in rural Florida people were extremely mean. I admit I come from a town that isn't really noted for being polite. But this was just plain rude, and it flew in the face of everything I've ever heard about the South.

The taxi drivers wouldn't take us anywhere but the airport and would try to run up the meters. The porters wouldn't move our bags without a tip. As far as the waiters and waitresses and just the people in general, they all had a very stuck up attitude. All of the above, by the way, we observed treating the locals much more nicely.

My last job was also owned and operated by a corporation from Virginia. Our warehouse in Philadelphia was actually the only one outside of the South. I was there since it opened, and we had a lot of supervisors and executives from the warehouses in the South come up here to train us. They were all very clannish and only liked to socialize with each other. The ones who were friendly would tell me things like, "The way you people dress up here is so funny" or "The furniture around here is so ugly" (it was a furniture warehouse.) I'd also get speeches on how rude and stuck up people from the North are, and how we all aren't nice enough.

Also, as a whole, even the people from the South who live here now prefer other Southerners. For some reason I think they feel like its a privilege to be from the South. "Its a Southern thing" is something I've heard my whole life but as far as I can tell its northing worth having or admiring.

So forgive this typical "yankee" for his colored attitude but its based on fact.
