Any fair government must be individualist. You can choose to be a collectivist in your personal life, BUT IT MUST BE VOLUNTARY to be worth anything.

Thats key, Collectivists believe in Forced or Coerced Altruistic Sacrifice.

Any altruistic act should be of the individuals own free will.

Most (young) people now a days are not individuals in the classic way anymore. they think the same, act the same, behave the same, like the same stuff, have same/similar character/person, want the same etc. like clones...just they look different...or like "the borg" "the hive, the collective" lol

I'll just toss this out:

I'm quite individual, but alas I am not individual enough to be able to build myself a car to drive on my own private road. Or to own my own business to take care of my every individual need, which of course would take a group of people I would have to tax in order to get enough funds to buy my own little south seas island which would bring us right back around to collectivism. Something like that.
