To undo brainwashing, you have to explore the nature of your own consciousness.
Explore your thoughts, your emotions, and let no action be done unconsciously.
Meditate and contemplate on "Who am I?"
Take no thought as your own original thought, as ALL thoughts are borrowed. And it that sense, we are ALL brainwashed to some degree.
