Many people dont seem to get what the big deal is, because they arent doing the math.
No deaths in Canada or the US, problem solved right? Wrong.
Folks should be worried.
The only reason no one has died yet in places other than Mexico is really sheer numbers and luck.
In mexico, we got like a 7% kill ratio.
Think of it as a math problem...
Low number of cases and no deaths = luck o the draw.
How may people in the world? 7 billion rounded.
If 7% holds true even roughly 400-500 million dead.
Worried yet?
Thats the number without the health infrastructure taking a dump because of the strain.
Once health care goes out the window, think 10-15%...

Those that are calling it a scam, hoax, or are just plain stupid dont get it...work the numbers.
Its horrific at half the kill rate.
I only have a few weeks of prep myself...is it worth the ones you love to sit back an do nuthin? |

I believe MORE people die from a SEASONAL FLU during February-March every year.
The reason there is slight panic is because governments are warning this could evolve into a global pandemic that is hard to control.

A number like that is more realistic than what you've said.
Still a massive amount of deaths though.

On a side note tho, countries with poor health care...

If as many people as I think will eat every kind of medicine to boost their immmune system "after" they are already infected..the numbers will be much higher when they inadvertently assist their owne hyper immunity Cytokine storm and drown themselves to death.
