Most of the advice I have seen here is probably wrong.
1. Contact you computer manufacturer and get the SATA driver in floppy format. 2. write the driver to floppy. 3. On installation of the XP, one of the first messages you will see is press F6 to load drivers. Do so quickly. 4. As XP is loading, it will ask for the driver. Make sure it is in the floppy and continue. 5. If it found the driver(s), it will ask you to select the correct one and then install.
That should do it.
