Will anything bad happen to NYC in the coming weeks?

Let's hope not! But, the recent fly-over by the White House over NYC is beyond suspicous.

First, both the NYPD and Secret Service were notified in advance. They were instructed that if news of the flight "leaked" there would be sanctions on New York (see the article FAA Memo: The Feds new it would cause panic etc.).

The Photo-op excuse is beyond rediculous. There are several reasons for this, but the most obvious is that Obama rarely does 'natural' photos. Having done numerous forgeries for real-estate transactions, youth pictures attending High School in Hawaii, and for the Certification of Live Birth, why would Obama opt to get a photo of Air Force One by the Statue of Liberty costing 328,000.00? Photoshop could make this happen and probably have it look better than the real thing.This was the official excuse, it may have changed by now, to getting "landscape photos", in which case is even more rediculous (if that is possible), because Air Force One has to maintain a certain flight speed to maintain flight level and that is simply too fast for photographs. It is why Helicopters are often used for close-in city photos.
