This is something that I have wondered about for a while:

Is it possible, in extreme cases, to proclaim that an individual doing active reporting for us, is a reporter?

This IS in it's own very weird and fringy way, a news agency of sorts, and this may allow people greater freedom than a private citizen would have.

It does mean standing up for them if they are questioned, but that should not be a legal problem, just a voice on the other end of a phone line.

"Does this person work for you? And you have some kind of online reporting agency? OK then!" That kind of thing.

It's not magic, but it can make the difference between being booted out of an area and disappearing at times.

Just a thought.
