It seems dr. postman KNOWS what reality is all about, so why dosent he put his beliefs on the line and share them with everyone. It looks like that is was tantalus is doing. It is most unfortunate that people who are so quick to attack and judge someone elses beliefs are so unwilling to have there own beliefs put in the same position of those who they judge. I bet if dr. postman put his belief system up for everyone to see, holes could be found, and he wouldnt like it very much. And in my opinion, dr. postman came here, tantalus didnt go find him.

Um, like any other planetary body, it is magnetic, like our poles. I really shouldn't have to explain that.

The earth isnt magnetic. It has a magnetic field created by electrical currents flowing through the nickel/iron core. This is how pole shifts occur. when the conditions change enough that the currents reverse, the poles shift.

If another planet comes along and the fields intermingle ( by the way, you might also care to know not every planet has a magnetic field. they are common, but not all have them. if the planet has cooled enough, the field is barely detectable)assuming it has one, the the stronger of the two fields will cause conditions generating the weaker one to change enough that the pole will reverse. if they are equal, its possible they will bump off and repel, but chances all almost certain that the destabilizing forces would cause one or the other to shift.

Either way, the planet itself wouldn't move noticeably, and certainly wouldn't be pulled on its side. You don't really have any idea what you are talking about and just making this shit up and trying to pass it off as science.
