This particular link is very convincing so I've posted it. I feel like crap - I've felt like crap for a very long time. I have only used a microwave oven to cook - ON IT'S OWN WITH NO OVEN OR HOB - for 3 years. So, I'm going to get a hob and see how I am in a month or two with my microwave mothballed...

I remember when the military did field tests to see if they could use microwaved food for soldiers in the field. The test group that got the nuked food started suffering from malnutrition and related diseases.
