Dread Pirate Roberts User ID: 671692 United States 05/05/2009 06:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Rumor was that a pregnant woman contracted swine flu and had to have an emergency c-section because she was in bad shape. I wonder if there is any connection to this case? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 672455if the baby died, I will shit my pants. baby OK so far Perry said state health officials are concerned about two other seriously ill patients: a 23-month-old child, who was confirmed to have swine flu, and a pregnant woman who had an emergency C-section. Her child is fine, but the mother is in critical condition, said Dr. David Lakey, commissioner of the state health department. Lakey said there was "a high likelihood" her illness would be confirmed as swine flu. In a response to detailed questions from Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), the company has offered a third assessment of exactly how much it paid out in bonuses last year. And the new number, offered in a document submitted to Cummings on May 1, is the highest figure the company has disclosed to date. AIG now says it paid out more than $454 million in bonuses to its employees for work performed in 2008. That is nearly four times more than the company revealed in late March [link to news.yahoo.com] |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 500901 United States 05/05/2009 07:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Notice, this woman died last week and we are only now finding out about it? That's because testing the dead is LOW PRIORITY. Mexico has given up testing the dead all together, so only confirmed cases are hitting the books when they die now there. NO ONE is giving us the number of probable deaths any more. this is scientifically correct, using only data they can be certain of, but since they are not testing MOST of the data in one area, deaths, than the death toll can ony be higher than we are being told. I don't know how much higher, it could be one person or one hundred TIMES what we are told, but it is certainly higher. The fun part of this, probably the only fun part, will be watching these "It's all a hoax" people change their stories over and over again as the data keeps coming in. I wonder how long they will claim it is a hoax and how quickly they will claim that they never said any of their current disinformation and repeated shill data? |

For all we know she could have been 93. she was in her 30's think about it: who DOESN'T have underlying health conditions. Everyone I know is diagnosed with diabetes, chronic fatigue, on some sort of anti-depressant, sciatica, glaucoma, heart conditions, the entire US is unhealthy for heaven's sakes. Even people in their thirties have severe health conditions these days. My opinion is that the 'mild' flu is combined with our generally poor diet and obesity is helping the flu along. ~Moi~ User ID: 436491 United States 05/05/2009 07:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What this shows, the new data, is that this flu virus is still infecting people and that testing seems to be catching up...
