If you don't have bird feeders, to watch birds;

Get a couple of fake owls, hawks and or eagles. Place them around your yard.

They're intelligent though, so unsure how long this will last. Maybe a cheaper and more long term plan to simply buy them some corn and make their own feeders... Seriously, that's a great method..
