Horrible dream/vision last night... Violent storm, incredible lightning flashes across the sky.

I have had similar dreams, not exactly the same as yours...but I do think that the Earth's weather will play a big part in it.

Interesting. Two nights ago I had a dream where I saw multiple white shiny objects falling from the sky. They looked like meteorites, but they had all the same point of origin.

I'm walking along a boardwalk beside the ocean. A large black woman with a large hat, a church lady, approaches. She spoke one word to me: "Soon."

Knowing, maybe.......

I'm just glad i'm not the only person having strange dreams involving the sky.
It looked as if the sky was literally on fire in my dream.

I myself havent gotten the chance to see Knowing yet, although I know what it is about. I heard the movie wasnt that good.

What OP saw, sounds like what is supposed to happen immediately preceding the Three Days of Darkness.

I think there will be other pre-warnings first.

God is trying to shake our tree, so to speak.

This reminds me of the time an elderly African American gentleman said to me "the skies gettin darker..." I dont think he was referring to the time of day.

I had a dream 3 days ago, where I was almost asleep but not quite, and I heard what sounded like a gi-hugic train passing by the house, and I opened my eyes, and saw bright white & blue strobe type flashes coming thru the window, so I sat up and yet knew I was laying down 1/2 asleep, and went to the window scared out of my mind and couldn't see outside because of the white and blue flashes of lightening, and the thunder was deafing. The whole house rattled like it was falling apart..... I tried to scream but barely a hoarse whisper came out.... I "willed" myself awake, but was shaking when I woke.....

CHAPTER 3
The Destroyer - PART 1
FROM THE GREAT SCROLL

Men forget the days of The Destroyer. Only the wise know where it went and that it will return in its appointed hour.


It raged across the Heavens in the days of wrath, and this was its likeness: It was as a billowing cloud of smoke enwrapped in a ruddy glow, not distinguishable in joint or limb. Its mouth was an abyss from which came flame, smoke and hot cinders.

When ages pass, certain laws operate upon the stars in the Heavens. Their ways change, there is movement and restlessness, they are no longer constant and a great light appears redly in the skies.
When blood drops upon the Earth, The Destroyer will appear and mountains will open up and belch forth fire and ashes. Trees will be destroyed and all living things engulfed. Waters will be swallowed up by the land and seas will boil. The Heavens will burn brightly and redly, there will be a copper hue over the face of the land, followed by a day of darkness. A new moon will appear and break up and fall.

The people will scatter in madness. They will hear the trumpet and battle cry of The Destroyer and will seek refuge in the den in the Earth. Terror will eat away their hearts and their courage will flow from them like water from a broken pitcher. They will be eaten up in the flames of wrath and consumed by the breath of The Destroyer.

Thus in the Days of Heavenly Wrath, which have gone, and thus it will be in the Days of Doom when it comes again. The times of its coming and going are known unto the wise. These are the signs and times which shall precede The Destroyer’s return: A hundred and ten generations shall pass into the West and nations will rise and fall. Men will fly in the air as birds and swim in the seas as fishes. Men will talk peace one with another, hypocrisy and deceit shall have their day.

Women will be as men and men as women, passion will be a plaything of man. A nation of soothsayers shall rise and fall and their tongue shall be the speech learned. A nation of law givers shall rule the Earth and pass away into nothingness.

One worship will pass into the four quarters of the Earth, talking peace and bringing war. A nation of the seas will be greater than any other, but will be as an apple rotten at the core and will not endure. A nation of traders will destroy men with wonders and it shall have its day. Then shall the high strive with the low, the North with the South, the East with the West, and the light with the darkness. Men shall be divided by their races and the children will be born as strangers among them.

Brother shall strive with brother and husband with wife. Fathers will no longer instruct their sons and their sons will be wayward. Women will become the common property of men and will no longer be held in regard and respect.

Then men will be ill at ease in their hearts, they will seek they know not what, and uncertainty and doubt will trouble them. They will possess great riches but be poor in spirit. Then will the Heavens tremble and the Earth move, men will quake in fear and while terror walks with them the Heralds of Doom will appear.

They will come softly, as thieves to the tombs, men will no know them for what they are, men will be deceived, the hour of The Destroyer is at hand. In those days men will have the Great Book before them, wisdom will be revealed, the few will be gathered for the stand, it is the hour of trial. The dauntless ones will survive, the stout-hearted will not go down to destruction. Great God of All Ages, alike to all, who sets the trials of man, be merciful to our children in the Days of Doom. Man must suffer to be great, but hasten not his progress unduly. In the great winnowing, be not too harsh on the lesser ones among men. Even the son of a thief has become Your scribe.

Yes, I've had a violent storm, weather dream also last week. It was horrible, like yours. But this storm was a hailstorm, and it completely demolished my childhood room that I grew up in, the same room that I was always terrified to enter at night because of the horrors that they used to inflict upon me in that room. It pervaded my whole childhood. All I know is those bastards are getting payback by God, and it's coming soon.

Anyway, your dream could be meant personally for you, or it could be more globally prophetic in nature. I think it's the latter. Mystery Babylon is about to fall.

there are above average temps in the south, oklahoma and texas and we here in the pacific northwest have had below average temps, that weather system is headed east and south

I woke up from a vivid strange dream this morning as well. Here is my journal entry on it. I know it is not very well written but I'm sure you'll get the idea. I've changed the names to initials.

8:29AM. I remember waking up in what was my room back home although I knew it was very different. I was with B and I had most everything with me, my desktop, my laptop, my clothes, all sorts of things. I walk out into the living room and look out the back windows. What I see is a sprawling city that could only be in Asia somewhere, I figured Japan by the looks of it. I walk into the kitchen and see a family of Japanese people. They greet me in Japanese and I sit down. I start to try and remember what little Japanese I know to try and communicate with them.

They ended up knowing more English than I knew Japanese so the conversations went smoother than I thought they would go. I introduced myself as L and as soon as I said my last name the Japanese woman I was talking to said it at the same time. She then told me that she had a friend or daughter (I can’t remember) that told her a story of a guy from one of her college classes that had the same name and the story never left her because of the peculiar name. I thought it was amazing that I ended up with this family.

I asked if they had seen my cell phone and they pointed me in the right direction. I grabbed my phone and went into my room. I wanted to call D but thought I should call M first. I stand near my bedroom window and start to call M. After a few rings she picks up and I tell her the situation. All she says is “Oh no.” Then I start to say how weird the entire thing is. How the hell could I wake up on the other side of the earth and have no idea how I got there?

I walk out of my room and into the living room while still on the phone, looking out at the old city from the back windows. Then, looking out the left back window I see two huge nukes detonate, mushroom clouds begin to form. I look out the right and see three more a little further away. I hear the family in the kitchen gasp and one of the women let out a small cry. I tell M that five nukes just detonated and that I love her and that I probably won’t ever see her again and then drop the phone. I look at B who is standing near the couch and we both run to the hallway.

We close B's bedroom’s door and curl up into protective balls. I feel the air pressure change and then I see the other doors of the bathroom, office and my room slam shut, then fire engulfs what is behind the doors and flames shoot down the open portion of the hallway. I look at B and wonder if we’ll make it at all.

Then everything fades to black and white text appears saying “90 DAYS LATER” just like a movie.

The scene fades back in and B and I are standing in what appears to be an old style Japanese courtroom. I go to the left to get a better view of the proceedings. All I kept saying was:

“How come you didn’t nuke the fuckers right away?!”

I remember thinking or hearing that they didn’t know who was responsible and they were trying to figure it out. I also saw the media there, like CNN and a bunch of other reporters and cameras. All I know is that B and I made it through and then I woke up.

The Three Days of Darkness

THE IMMEDIATE SIGN

It will be a bitterly cold winter night in the Northern hemisphere. (Presumably, a very cold summer night in Australia or, by contrast, a torrid night.) The wind will howl and roar. Lightning and thunderbolts of an unprecedented magnitude will strike the earth. The whole earth will shake, heavenly bodies will be disturbed – (this will be the beginning of the Three Days). Every Demon, every evil spirit will be released from hell and allowed to roam the earth. Terrifying apparitions will take place. Many will die from sheer fright. Fire will rain forth from the sky, all large cities will be destroyed, poisonous gases will fill the air, cries and lamentations everywhere. The unbelievers will burn in the open like withered grass. The entire earth will be afflicted; it will look like a huge graveyard.

As soon as you notice that bitterly cold night, go indoors, lock all doors and windows, pull down the blinds, stick adhesive paper on vents and around windows and doors. Do not answer calls from outside, do not look at the windows, or you will die on the spot: keep your eyes down to make sure you do not see the windows; the Wrath of God is mighty and no one should attempt to behold it. Light blessed wax candles; nothing else will burn, but the candles will not be extinguished once lit. Nothing will put them out in the houses of the faithful, but they will not burn in the houses of the godless. Sprinkle holy water about the house and especially in the vicinity of doors and windows: the devils fear holy water. Bless yourself with it and anoint your five senses with it: eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands, feet, and forehead. Keep on hand a sufficient supply of drinking water and, if possible, food also (but you can live without food for three days.) Kneel down and pray incessantly with outstretched arms, or prostrate on the floor. Make acts of contrition, faith, hope, and charity. Above all say the Rosary and meditate on the Sorrowful mysteries.

Some people, especially children, will be taken up to Heaven beforehand to spare them the horror of these days. People caught outdoors will die instantly. Three-quarters of the human race will be exterminated, – more men than women. No one will escape the terror of these days.

I don't see where he has any proof though, and reading GLP threads does not give me nightmares. Most of the time, the threads here make me laugh :)
The dream I had on the other hand has caused me great concern.
I don't quite believe my dreams are signs of future events, but it is obvious, unless everyone is bullshiting, that I am not the only one having these dreams...
