| Sky User ID: 6173289 11/28/2011 12:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I live in Samson Alabama. The rumbling noise happens all the time but it happens at or really close to 10am each time. I am not home all the time so the frequency of it I am unsure about. I will say that it seems to be more during the week days then on the weekends. I only know that when it happens my house shakes each time it rumbles and it goes on for quite some time after you initially hear it. Sometimes it lasts for 30 mins off and on. The rumble is pretty loud and when I first felt it I thought it was the beginning of an earthquake, again I live in Alabama. Those don't really happen here so it was very scary. But I've noticed that it doesn't matter if there are clouds in the sky or not. Happens when it's sunny or if it has rained. The only thing is you know it's not from a storm, it behaves differently then when it's about to rain. Plus it happens at 10am. I live NO WHERE close to an airport or train station or anything else I can explain it away with. I live pretty much in the middle of a field and the biggest thing around here is a tractor. I really don't believe in the whole alien thing so I want to explain it with it being maybe a government test of some-sort, seeing as how it is always "on time". I read some other threads online that people hear this all over. I've never SEEN anything in the sky, but at least that would explain maybe a sonic boom of some sort from an aircraft. I really just don't know?!?? |

Very strange.. Quoting: Huh? 1419439 I'm in Charleston as well. I've also heard these sounds a few times. I kept thinking it may be a big ship but it was too late at night, too loud, and it seemd so eeire and far away. I was just watching random youtube vids and stumbled upon strange sound in manitoba. It was exactly the same sound, apparently they're happening all over. Weldonbleu@gmail.com Email me |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 17753790 06/11/2012 01:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Happens in San Diego all the time. Quoting: JoeNeubarthIn Houston and hearing it right now! Sounds like a train going thru the sky. Absolutely like a freight train. Have now heard this three times over North Hollywood CA after dark while walking dog. Yesterday a friend accompanied me. He scoffed, told me the sound was a train. I simply asked, "where is this train? Which direction?" He turned around, and around, looking at the sky, and then said "oh sh-t!" It makes my skin crawl. |

I must say I am rather shocked at how many people here, on a website like this no less, are completely clueless about this ongoing phenomenon... OP - Google Strange Sounds, SkyRoars, Mystery Booms. You'll find literally hundreds of videos with the exact sound you heard. Sound phenomenon have been increasing since Novemeber of last year. To date, the most coverage of these anamolies would have to be Clintonville, Wisconsin. They actually managed to make MSM headlines. What started as isolated incidents spread all over the globe is quickly turning into nightly events in every single state. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 1746051 06/11/2012 02:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | planes, trains and thunder storms? I'm no rocket scientist, but i can imagine that people know the difference. These sounds have been heard world wide for around 5 months. Planes: most people know what a plane sounds like. It's usually accompanied by an actual plane. not the case here. Thunder: There is no thunder without clouds. a clear and sunny day usually will not produce a thunderous noise like the ones described. sky quakes? what the hell is a sky quake and why haven't we ever been taught about them??? |

I have looked up at the sky and noticed if I stand really still and lean against something solid that will not move and stare at a star it moves and one of the other really bright stars is flashing white and blue and has kinda of a red spot on it and its looks like it is moving back and forth just enough to disappear behind a street light pole. I am not superficial but this is weird and kinda creepy |
