malu User ID: 593162 United States 05/10/2009 10:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | concealed hammer .357, would be my vote, you can only kill a man so much, and a .44 mag is over kill. plus you can shoot .38's, although it would not make much of a target pistol ,, lol i had the glock 30, .45 compact, nice gun, very expensive and not really so concealable of course i don't own any guns any more either guns are evil Last Edited by malu on 05/10/2009 10:02 PM "By way of deception, thou shalt do war." And a 44 mag Smith revolver in 6" and 8"..to name a few... So it depends on two questions how much do you shoot and how familiar are you with these guns??? Holy Bat Shitman! User ID: 676414 United States 05/10/2009 10:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | the 357 is going to be a litlle cheaper to shoot the 44 is going to hit a little harder, for concealed carry i would take the 357,(get a glock ) Dozens of them. Armed to the teeth. I'm outnumbered. Outgunned. But the alley is crooked, dark, and very narrow. They can't surround me. Sometimes you can beat the odds with a careful choice of where to fight. I am thinking I better get something soon, before BB guns are outlawed. Looks like you would be farther ahead if you went on a diet, hillbilly. |

JF Priest User ID: 645766 United States 05/10/2009 10:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ok then to start off you will need some training and practice... I would start with a Smith and Wesson model 686 (.357 Mag)in 4" or 6"... If down the road you intend to carry a 4" will be better... But you need training and practice...A 6" revolver will be easier to learn on and easier to shoot because of the longer barrel...( A Glock with the lack of a manual safety is a little to dangerous for your first gun.. IMO) It Only Hurts If You Care... |
