I post this in reference to the article stating increased military activity. Last friday 5/9/09 a strange happening occured outside of Romeoville IL where I have lived for the last five years since EAS. Two military ch-47 helo's olive drab with no designation appeared from virtually nowhere flying in low circular patterns and performing combat touchdowns. The strangeness of this being, I have never seen militay aircraft in the area ever and I live next to a large airfield that services small aircraft and leer jets. Yet the aircraft were nowhere near the airfield. To the best of my knowledge of my surrounding townships, they were landing in a commercial warehousing district in Bolingbrook IL. And to be noted, the Burlington Northern railroad passes a few miles from my home. Just recently I have noticed placed before the tracks a blue sign that reads "Danger Increase Rail Road Traffic". Many of these trains have been seen hauling military equipment. Thought I would share.
