What constitutes DOOM for GLP?

When I think of Doom I think of something the whole world is deeply affected by. The first nuke that goes off is a definite qualifier of doom. If the planet rolls out 30 degrees or so, that is doom.

Some random earthquake on the globe that is statistically a norm is not doom. It's doom for the people there but not REAL doom in the way we expect to see our doom. Two shuttles sitting on the launchpad is not doom. I think most of the doom here is imagined doom and weak at best. It's the kind of doom that COULD happen if you overlook every bit of common sense and reality.

What is Doom for GLP?? Is it grand Doom like most expect or watered down coffee doom?
