This must be REALLY bad, if YOBAMA won't release these photos! Seriously, where is the "transparency"??? Right!!!!
Whatever I think about the Prez. I think, this is the RIGHT decision, these photos, do NOT need to be published!!!

Normally I am all for freedom of information but in this case if they are broadly released they will be very inflammatory. I looked at a lot of the photos which were already posted on the net and pretty badf. These maybe worse. |

Reading the comments of some here, I'm not so sure there is any deed too base or vile for the sheeple to accept, as long as it was done in the name of God, Country, or political expediency. Quoting: locomotion 522658

Ok lets reverse rolls. Lets say that We are the ones who have had our people tortured, are facing a enemy much larger than us and then they publish pictures (obviously) to show us how big and bad they are.
They have their troops in our country. What shall we do?
Sit there and accept the big bad enemy publishing torture pictures or go out and kill a few of their troops?
Its is reasonable to assume that publishing torture pictures/tapes will only go to instigate more suicide bombings, more attacks on US troops in 'revenge' for those tortures. Quoting: Wraithwynd

Instead of baring the truth of torture and pleeding forgiveness for it! All I see is continue the torture and cover it up and don't procecute the ones who ordered it the past 8 years accountable! |

A picture speaks a thousand words and transcends all languages.
Not only did the whole unnecessary, unethical, violations of God's laws torture program harm human beings, it did put our forces in danger. But Bush and Cheney and Rumself and Addington and Gonzalez and Yoo and Flanigan did NOT care one wit about our soliders. They were warned that it was illegal so got jackasses like Yoo to write the torture memos.
Realize that Obama has better things to do than ensure that the higher ups involved are prosecuted. He is trying to keep us fed and alive until the pole shift comes and takes all the responsbility off his shoulders.
By the way, I think Obama is sixth density, like me. |

The government of Iraq and the US government signed the SOFA in 2008, agreeing that the US forces will remain in Iraq until the end of 2012, reducing its forces over the time, leaving all the responsibilities to Iraqi military and police-security services in all cities in the same timeframe. By 2013, all the US troops will be out of Iraq, except for the US Marines responsible for the US Embassy/Green Zone.
The PNAC policy no longer applies in Iraq. It's done.
Obama made the right decision this time. If he did, it would be detrimental to the US military and intelligence community for their capabilities to fight terrorism and Obama would end up being totally responsible if some terrorists attack US interests and lives in the future.
