I thought we were progressing, but this defense of torture is sickening. After WWII, some Japanese were put to death for waterboarding Americans, as war crimes.
Yet now we see some people saying it is okay. The same ones claiming moral high ground, actually.
How backwards.
We can only expect the same mercy we show. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
