I have solved the riddle for you.
The riddle is not 666 that was changed alot later.
Its 616.
And its a code to refer to a Roman Emperor, possibly Nero, in Hebrew writings so they didn't get persecuted by him for writing about him.
There is nothing more to it than that.
That's the riddle solved.
