Just when the past few weeks have made me lose faith...

Sure, attractive women get a lot of nice things done for them simply because of their good looks, but all too often men give way too much creepy attention to a goodlooking woman and it makes her dread any stranger doing anything nice for her. It starts off with a nice gesture, you say 'thank you so much', and they see it as an opening to ask you all kinds of personal questions that you don't really want to answer because it's a strange guy looking at you like you are a steak and he hasn't eaten in a week.

But just to play devil's advocate, I have found that women who (for whatever reason, looks, social condition, etc.) feel that people never pay them attention actually get some positive help from people...they appreciate it that much more.

When someone needs help...the last thing I look for is attractiveness.

Because of him, I have decided to make it a life mission to do one kind act for a stranger a day (more if the opportunity arises).

Well, I went to the Post Office and the clerk was nice and the line was not long. Told me that my forever stamps were still good and got the new book of stamps.

Opened the door or held it open for a couple of little old ladies as I left and all went good for a Monday.
