You may find that what you save on bread will be added to your electricity bill instead. Quoting: Scully 662749I didnt buy it to save on electric, I didnt want to get too detailed but I did it to get rid of high fructose corn syrup products and to be able to add flax meal etc to our bread... Bread Man Human User ID: 683941 United States 05/21/2009 10:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've had a West Bend maker for years, and I loves to make bread, it's really easy. And it's sooooooo much better than any store bought bread, which is just crap loaded with chemicals. Manitowac Ovens is the only real bread you can buy anymore. Even Brownberry bread is now crap, they sold out a few years back. |

A loaf of cheap crap bread, that's mostly water in weight, costs the same. Dry out a loaf of store brought bread, then weigh it, to find that it was mostly water. Not so with home made bread. |

You mean if she used her regular oven, it wouldn't cost anything on the energy bill? |

If you have not made peace with the self, if you do not live in peace self-sustainably in your being, then what do you have to offer to another? How then can peace come to be for the world, if you are not willing to seek it within? -Eliakim |

martina User ID: 425683 United States 05/21/2009 11:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I make this bread everyday. We use it for pizza dough, cinnamon muffins and I often add herbs to the mix. My family can't get enough of it. I hope every one gives it a try. Quoting: sunwynhave you ever made this bread with whole grain spelt? thanks again. the video at the link was a nice touch as well! |

If your point is that it costs the same to make a loaf of home baked bread as it does to buy a loaf of store bought bread, why should that discourage anyone? Isn't homemade bread better, if you're willing to go to the trouble to make it, regardless of the price? |
