Should Anti Hunting Advocates be Alowed to Eat Meat?

New rule: Gotta kill any meat you eat.

Right! I worked in a slaughter house when I was a kid. It has haunted me my whole life, lining up all those animals every morning and seeing the fear in their eyes.

At least when they are shot in the wild, they have no clue what was about to happen.

Imagine seeing a line of cattle and one being dropped right in front of the other one all day long.

I went hunting when I was 15. Shot a deer. Handed the rifle to my dad and swore off meat and guns for the rest of my life. That was nearly 50 years ago.

I've said in other threads, and I'll say again, there is no good reason for people to have guns. And there is no good reason for hunting. I stay away from my old stomping grounds in Colorado during hunting season ... reminds me too much of my days in Vietnam (where I went into combat zones as a medic without carrying a weapon).
