On further note: claiming you have proved someone wrong, is false too. Unless you are the almight creator of all, it is impossible to claim you know the 'truth'. You can only state what you believe, or your own truth. Reality if often a fickle thing.


But I can pretty much trust in something that is testable,
repeatable, reproducible and falsifiable. That's how we
got most of the modern conveniences we now enjoy. Why
ignore those basic tenets?



Yes, I suppose for a material object in front of you, you can test it.

But we are talking about a far away planet. Things like this, or proving there is God, or proving any esoteric, unseen thing, is something that cannot be done with our current technology.

Logic, testing, the scientific method, etc... doesn't answer for everything.
