OBSESSION WITH TIME PUTS FOCUS ON WHAT WE CREATE AND AWAY FROM TIMELESS GOD

i´m the complete opposite.

i don´t usually pay attention to the hour or even the day for that matter.

sometimes i´m shocked to realize what month it is . . .

i think it´s a by-product of living in a temperate climate?


besides - unless i fumble for my glasses i can´t tell what time it is anyway (via my watch - a beautiful french number that´s usually a blur)

adding to say - i don´t think my way is a good example in the least and i don´t advocate it in the least.

the happy medium is certainly healthier.

my answer to the question am i too tied to time,

yes i am, and i have noticed that lately and have actually tried to pull away from being so clock conscious

i am spending more time in prayer, but it is a struggle to accomplish all my commitments and responsibilities, the more i try to catch up with what i got behind on because i spend time in prayer, the more anxious i get, which sends me running to the prayer closet, and now it seems i am on a merry go round.

the bottom line, i don´t care much any more about my day, EXCEPT my time with the Lord because that is what makes me happy

Good post! I gave up time when I moved to Hawaii. We have only one clock in the house and it´s only looked when someone has to be at work at a certain time. I never use an alarm - I just tell myself when I need to get up and I do. If it wasn´t for work, I´d never know what day it was, what month or even what year!

The Hour Glass

In a vision, I saw an hour glass turned on its side. Here is what the Lord has to say about this:

I want My children to know that I have all under control. I want you to know that I intend to bless you mightily with My presence. And I want you to know that time as you know it is about to stand still. Now what could I possibly mean by such a statement? I will tell you:

Time, as you know it, beloved is going to stop. I have foreordained it to stop. I have planned since the beginning that the day would come when I would STOP time. I want you prepared for all that lies ahead, and to know that that the King Eternal is about to rain down His glory on His chosen. He is about to manifest Himself in a wonderful way. He is about to show the world that He is the Almighty God. Many will recognize Me and come into My fold. Many will not. Be that as it may, I will remain God for all eternity. My sovereignty does not depend on mankind’s beliefs. It depends on truth, and I am a God of great truth. I spare nothing or no one who will not accept this fact. It is truth, and mankind will either accept it or turn from it.

After the proposed mighty harvest, beloved, you will see many things. You will see that the Almighty has done a beautiful and exacting work. You will see that I, the sovereign Lord, have done all that I said that I would do. Life will take on a new meaning – an eternal meaning. You will not dwell in that habitation of the past, beloved. You will rise up and dwell with the Beloved. The world will see many things during this era. They will see many things that will cause their hearts to faint. I will still be God. I will still be on My throne and My beloved will know a wonder – the wonder of dwelling in My presence. This is the era of stopped time of which I have told you. It is an era that each of you will step into. You will take delight in this era. I will take delight in this era. But the people on earth will not know of this era. Time will not stand still for them. In fact, it will seem that time is moving slowly for them. Yes, My plans will continue, because I am drawing time as the whole world knows it to a close.

I am telling you that time, as you know it, will soon stop for you, beloved. You will be in another place – with Me, your Holy God. I want you to be aware of this fact. I want you to know that the promised harvest of souls is upon you. It is close, beloved – CLOSE. After it occurs, you are going to know a new way. You are going to know new surroundings. You are going to revel in a place that I have prepared for you – just for those who have surrendered their whole hearts to Me.

I want you to know this truth, dear child, and look forward to the day of its coming. For it is surely coming.

I am bringing forth a mighty harvest. You are going to see wondrous sights, and then, beloved, LOOK UP! LOOK UP and see the glory cloud of the Beloved as it envelops you, offering you new life – that promised new life that is found in Me, but only for those who have surrendered, declaring their allegiance to Me, and walking in My truth.

I have told you tonight that time is about to stand still for My beloved. You are about to know a new place – a new place where time does not exist. You are about to walk in a new fashion. I have created this place for you to dwell unscathed by the enemy’s last day antics. I want you, My beloved, to know that I am encasing you in My glory cloud and moving you out of all that would bring grief to your heart. That is My plan. It is as simple as that. It is as wonderful as that. It is for you. It is for your enjoyment, and it is for you to experience life-everlasting with the One Who is eternal – the One Who gave His life for you!!!

I agree with you on the obsession point. Eye have always been fascinated by time and the supposed limitations and how it boxes people in. Like N, S, E, and W when 6 is more correct to actual parameters. One of my fav gifts someone gave me is a wristwatch dismantled and cast free floating style in a plexiglass cube-it is a powerful piece. My companions watch broke 5 yrs ago when he met me-I suggested he was not to be constrained by a watch/timepeice-he agreed and has been timepiece free for 5 yrs-

My watches always break-although I need them for the medical field-otherwise I do not wear one-it is a form of enslavement.
