i am unfortunately very apathetic myself. although i consider myself an "empath", that does not mean apathy is non-existent; it certainly is. we empaths wage a continual battle against insensitivity and apathy. it's not like we're immune to it. we're humans.

but please, for those who know they're not empaths: don't think you're some inferior or bad person merely because you're not an empath, for that would be far from the truth. in fact, there are many "empaths" who use their gifts in sinister ways (for example, conscious psychic vampires). likewise, those who don't have many "gifts" are more than capable of using the little they may seem to have toward beautiful and wonderful things.



i found this intriguing as well.

personally, as an alien abductee, however, it would not surprise me if such a conclusion is accurate.

abduction researcher david jacobs says that there are things which suggest that the aliens are somehow altering humans to facilitate their agenda (physiologically).

but anyways, all "woo woo" stuff aside, i really like the term "hybrid psychic". but it seems to be accurate, as my gifts in this particular department are indeed varied.

i was born such a strong empath that it got me into such trouble as a young one then as i grew older i suffered such heartacch and hurt that i have become an emotinal recluse and hermit that no one can get close to me even when i want them to

but at the same time, count it as a blessing (although it may be hard to do). for you are obviously unlike most people of this planet. and if most of the people of this planet are cruel, proud, unforgiving and insensitive - and you are completely unlike them - then this should be a reason to rejoice.

but i can relate to your feelings quite well (most of us "highly sensitive people" can).
