No, NASA wouldn't claim that, because Hubble is not capable of imaging things as small as a LEM descent stage or a lunar rover on the moon.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH, FAR FROM IT. If they are close to the moon then they should have much better pictures to prove that is where the Apollo 15 craft landed. I'm not saying they didn't go there or they did but those pictures aren't good enough and they can do much better. Especially when it is possible to film the moon this close from earth with a 12" telescope. Space agencies are still taking the piss out of us all for whatever reasons.

This Japanese orbiter has resolution far in excess of what would be required to see a moon buggy.

So unless some ET's stole the moon buggy off the moon, if it doesn't show up in the pictures it was never there in the first place.

I believe the entire map is set to be used in a google earth like program to allow scientists to zoom in on any location on the moon. So I think it's just a matter of time until this is proven true or false. It's a pretty simple thing. Forget about footprints and tire tracks...if the equipment and flag and all that they supposedly left there is not there, the whole thing was a hoax.
