911 was really an explosive news in 2001 for Chinese.
At that year, people talked it often, and thougt it was really a disaster. Later till now, people not talked it often, just causually when mentioned USA, or some related things.

I read from website the news before, the news said that some American expert and people think that 911 was done by American Government...I remember at that time some colleagues mentioned this when talked about 911, but no one took it seriously.
I think most Chinese belives it was done by Larden, but Larden has been supported by USA, so America "ate his own fruit" --- this is a Chinese idiom, i don;t know how to express in English. It means, America support a killer to kill people, but finally this killer kill America.
You know this is not a positive idiom. Chinese mother always teach her child :" be good, don;t do bad things, otherwise you will eat your own frirt ", "The people who do bad things will get return back".
I have no any intention to be offensive to you.
