Martial arts and all kinds of philosophy are encouraged in China. Many religions are tolerated. Why are the FalunGong in so much trouble there? I don't understand because it seems to be a form of martial arts and meditation. How can this threaten the government?

Re: Any Question to a Chinese? --- Come here and ask me -- A Chinese people from China
What does the everyday man-in-the-street Chinese think of Americans? I'm almost afraid to ask that question, but I want to know if they blame the average American for the troubles in the world. Hey, we didn't do it! :)
.

haha
OK. From my limited experience, i think,

The people who did not meet or talk or work with an American, they will think Americans are open mind, especially for sex. hahahah... because most of impression about American is from TV or Movie. hahaaha..
Usually people are curise about them.

The people who ever meet/ talk / work / live with and kown Americans, they will think human being are similar all over the world.
Americans are more straight forwarder than Chinese people, and not care much about other what others think about themselves. Most of them are friendly.
Normal Americans not as open for sex as we thought. some people are even conservative.

People think America is a strong country, but likes to bother other countries own affairs out of reason.
For economy problems, i think most of people, including me, will think America caused this problem. Of course people will not blame Americans face to face, but i think people will think in heart that You people cause these problem.

As my opinion, I think the greedy Financer / money man / the high office of finace / Insurance / house cooperation should responsible for the problem, but the American people should also responsible for this in some part. Why i say like this? here is example:

I think America people live a wastefull life.
I never been to America. Some of my friends go to your country for business trip, when she was in USA Head office, she fould people don;t shut off the air cnditions and lightes at the end of the day. Her colleagues told her that becasue the next day when the first employee come to office, it takes time to warm room if open air condition in the morning.

Here in China, employess will close all lights and air conditions after off work, we re-use all printed papers.
In summer, government asked buildings to close office building's the center air conditions after 18:00 to save electtical power, no mater if people still working in office or not.

In China, normal people use fabric to dry bowls and plates after washing them. I heard American people use a kind of thick paper to dry tem.
Maybe this is just lif style diffrence?
I don;t kno. I just feel it waste many papers.... hehe

From many examples, i feel Americans live a wastefull life.
All people want to live in a big house, you people buy te house which can not offord it, you enjoy, but leave the problem.

This is not intend to be offensive, just told you people's true minds.

I do think American better know to save.

What you don't know is that we have a very large population of poor people here. Were are all not rich and live in big houses, and it's getting much worse. The number of unemployed people here is growing by the hundreds of thousands every month.

Everyone is getting unemployment checks from the government, but when that runs out the jobs are scarce that pay a living wage. We are becoming more socialst than China!

What do Chinese think about Tibetans? Why, in the face of the rest of the world being so angry, about their actions, do not the people of China demand that Chinese govt not hand back Tibet to the Dalai Lama and the followers?

Why is China so stubborn in this? What do they want to accomplish by trying to wipe out their heritage? To me it just seems mean, selfish and extraordinary. Saving face means admitting to mistakes and making up for it....so China wants to keep insisting on what? That its ok to dominate people who cant fight back? WHY would that make sense to anyone?

Or is it that you just dont care because China Rule = China people just shut the hell up in case you get same treatment as Tibetans or Tianemen Square. Surely you people have gotten over the barbaric shit by now...or not? You say like you have but....its still not playing out and you all laugh.....hahaha...like its funny people dont agree with the govt. Are you still scared of them? If so, why?

HI
FALUNGONG is not religion, not martia arts.
From beginning it started as Qigong, which specially originate in China.

From Chinese meidicine point of view, Qigong is a self-practice method that can make practicer;s breath and the engergy inside balanced and harmonious by adjusting spirit and QI.

From morden action iatrology point of view, Qigong is an action treatment which is formed by keep learning and trainning a good action that good to body and spirit health and finally fixed this action by a condition reflex pattern,

From the process that psychology and physiology work by, we can define Qigong as a self=practice method that Make the conscious to self-hypnosis through the method of self-hint; make the adjust spirit and body baenced through the self-system of physic, mentality and modality.

Qigong can be devided as two group / category, one is Hard Qigong which not only practice spitit inside but practice body outside; the other is SOFT Qigong, which practice inside by breath without consuming much physical strength.

In the middle and of 90s in China, Qigong is very popular as a method to keep health or prevent disease. Many kinds of Qigong arised at that time. Qigong teacher called up the people interested in it and teach them practic method. All the teaching will collect tuition fee.
Falungong arsed as one kind of Qigong too. Like other Qigong teacher, Falungong's leader said he has special power or practice his Qigong well and can cure disease.

I'm lucky to see a small booklet about Falungong. A Falungong practicer brought this booket to my mum, ans asked my mom to join in. At that time i was in school, I went back home and saw this book. The books said: Practicer not allowed to take any medicine when they are sick, the disease will disapear if practicer sitting as falungong's method. The book said the theory like”Sun is moving around earth” “in certain year/month/date the world will go to the end and ruine, only falungong can save the world....” Many ridiculous theories. I was astonished that in this morden day there are still stupid book and people even believe it.

One of my mom's friend, a beautiful woman, she was beautiful and have a beautiful straight legs, she was good at dancing. After practicing faungong, she stopped dancing, her heathy is worse and worse. As she insist asking her son to learn faungong, her son went to another city. Her son married later and had a baby, she went there to take care baby, baby was stick, she was trying to stop son;s wife to buy medicine for baby. She quarred with her son;s wife and left. After 5 years somehow she sundenlly wake up. She started dace again now, but due to long time sitting by Falungong's way, her leg not straight anymore, her dance not as beautiful as b before.

One of interesting thing is most of the practicers are middle-aged adult.

The Faungong;s arise has some social reasons. At that time China's ecomony was growing, make money is becoming the main aim of people. The laws and rules is not clear and good enough, the society is somewhat our of old order. The old standard, which middle-aged people followed for years, was ruined. The new standard and rules not build up yet. People lost their mind and belif. They need certain kind of “belief” to follow up.

There are many kinds of Qigong and Gongfu, why they are not go so far away?

Does FALUNGONG belongs to any kinds of Qigong? No.
Does FALUNGONG belongs to any kinds of Gongfu? Of course no.
Does FALUNGONG is certain religion? Don't stain the holy “Religion”!

Re: Any Question to a Chinese? --- Come here and ask me -- A Chinese people from China
Chinese people suffer from enormous inferiority complexes. Thats why they are trying to imitate the westerners in each and every field. They have no self respect left at all.

They are unfortunately following the worse things of the western world : materialism. All Chinese now want to be materialistic and want to earn money. They have been brainwashed to believe, just like in the west, that paper money has absolute value and all the people should spend their life running after this bullsh*t paper money.

I prefer the Taiwanese more. They respect their identity and do not tend to become as much copycats of the west as their mainland neighbors. Taiwanese have preserve Kung Fu (real one), Qi Gong, and many other aspects of their culture, and yet they have progressed and developed.

China is simply aping the west.

1. What do Chinese think about Tibetans?
What do Chinese think about Tibetans? EVERY Chinese think Tibet is a part of China., it has been a part of China for 200 years. No doubt! No matter what government and when have the TIBET to be separate, this government will not stand over long and will be a sinner in Chinese history and will be scold forever. This is True.
Your question is a typical one from your western country. I can write a lot to explain this question, but I've been tired of it and i think it is no meaning to explain to the people like you. Because I do know you will not believe it even you go to Tibet and see the situation by your own eyes. And one of your reason is our government covered the truth. I do know it.

Here I just ask you some questions:
1)Why not American give up Hawaii, Canadian give up Quebec, UK give up Scotland, French give up Corsica, Spanish give up Basques, Italian give up Sicily, Danes free the Faeroe Island, Japanese can free Okinawan, New Zealand can give the islands to Maori, Australian can give up Papua, Sri Lanka can separate Tamil, Indian can separate Sikh? Why?
2)Why in this modern society you people still want a religion leader rule people by religion? You really don't know that it is very dangerous? Do you forget the dark Middle age history in European? You really don't know what's the Tibetan situation in old times?
3)In China, people are free to have their own religion, Tibetan also can have their own religion freely. Dalai LAMA can be religion leader always, why he wants to rule people by himself? I'm sure you will agree that rule a place by a people, a king, is not good. Why you think DALAI LAMA can own tibetan? Why?

I can answer one of your questions. Australia gave independence to Papua New Guinea in 1975.

"Peaceful independence from Australia, the de facto metropolitan power, occurred on September 16, 1975, and close ties remain (Australia remains the largest bilateral aid donor to Papua New Guinea)."

2. What do they want to accomplish by trying to wipe out their heritage?
Chinese people are not trying to wipe out Heritage. They are still there and at present more and more people emphasize on it. Time is changing, ecomomy is changing, culture is changing., some culture is fading, some is kept, some is changed to another way, some leave there. This is just a society / country / history moving process. When a new things come out, people always in a proess like: argue, accept whole or abandon whole, accept part or abandon part.....
For example, in 80s, China just open up, the western culture and idea flood in China. People argue them fiercely, some think that is better than our traditional culture, some said that is so bad, we must still keep as before. After some years, now you can see that, Chinese accept some new things from outside, also keep our own things, people accept the good one, abandon the bad one. That's all.

Why you can not understand so simple thing? WHY?

oh, I just notice that I misunderstand in my last post.
You are still talking about Tibet.

You can check my first post for you and here is more:

No one never wipe out Tibetan heritage.
Chinese people always insisting to keep country as a complete unify one. From history.

If you think its ok to fight back, then you think it is ok for Uigur / Mogolia / Zhuang nation (the biggest Minority nation in China) / Other 50 Minorrity nations .. can fight and seperate?

If ok China fight and get Vietnam who was one part of China hundrads years ago?
If ok China get back outer Mongolia?
If ok for all of the other countries who have more than 2 minority nations can fight?
If ok for countries who have nation problems seperate themselves?
If ok dinasour realive and fight back their places from human being?

What happend in Tibetan you can go there and see in case you belive what you see.
I never visit Tietan before. One of my friend went there 5 years ago. I belive what she saw.

For Tianman square, I don;t want to talk about it with you, because I never met a people who were there at that time. But I saw TVS at that time, and saw some vidoes from web years later. I have my own mind for it. I have replied it in another post, i will try to find it and post here again.

What;s the China's real situation, you can come and see. Or you just watch your TV and make a judgement, then I have nothing to say to you.

I laugh because i want to laugh, or because i met funny things, or some other reason. I like laughing, ok?

Why i should scared of our government? Are you scared of your government? I heard that FBI can invest any people, and ask you to their house and make you disapear? Am I right?
Governemnt does do wrong things, or unfair things, or dark things in some affair, or people, which make people angry. I always hope things go in right way. But I never experience things from them to make me scared till now.

For furture, I don;t know yet.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

In Max Brooks’ novel World War Z, the large artificial lake upstream of the dam is the site of the initial zombie outbreak before the war; a superstitious character suggests that the outbreak is a retribution for the destruction of ancient holy sites. Later in the novel, the Dam is overrun by zombie hordes, which make the emergency pressure release valves impossible to reach. This eventually results in the Three Gorges Dam rupturing, resulting in a massive tsunami which races to the ocean, destroying what remains of Wuhan, Nanjing, and Shanghai. This results in the outbreak of the Chinese Civil War.
