Here's something for the chemtrail crowd to ponder

This is a strawman argument you've concocted, easy for you to knock down. Just because someone says "they haven't always been there," doesn't mean they haven't been around longer than some people think.

It used to be called "weather modification." There were several bills in Congress passed to regulate it. I had copies of these bills back in the 1980's. It dates back to the 60's at least, maybe even further back.

Your strawman argument bypasses the more essential aspects of the chemtrail issue.

You can't tell me anything about these planes that are leaving these "contrails."

Who owns and operates these planes? Are they private? Government? Foreign?

Where do they take off from and where do they land? Where are they headed?

What are unmarked white planes doing flying back and forth across the roof of the sky, making crisscross patterns that don't follow the normal flight patterns of commercial airline planes which are flying at much lower altitudes (and not leaving any contrails, either)?

WHY, DURING THE NORTHEAST BLACKOUT OF AUGUST 2005, DID THESE PLANES CONTINUE TO SPRAY FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT AND DURING THE FOLLOWING MORNING, WHEN IT WAS ANNOUNCED THAT ALL COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS WERE GROUNDED?!?!?! I KNOW, BECAUSE I'M ALWAYS WATCHING THE SKIES, AND I SAW THEM!

I feel that the writer and creator, Joseph Stefano, might have placed them there intentionally. He was certainly in the know about these types of things.

For example, one episode called The Bellero Shield had the opening line "There is a passion in the human heart that is called aspiration. You forgot two very important things.

If trails had been added, you're forgetting that was 1964-65 and special effects were quite primitive.

Just look at the other special effects in The Outer Limits we know were put in.

Not very impressive, even though the show itself is still a classic.

If those trails were added, it would be too obvious.

The other thing that slipped past you is that Joseph Stefano only produced the first season.

This episode was at the end of the second season.

Why can't you people just face the fact the skies could look the same even then?

Persistent contrails over a military base are nothing new. Military planes run "dirty", meaning that a lot of particulate matter is in the plume.

Over the last two decades, civilian flights have been running dirty as well. Why? So the particulate matter can block sunlight and absorb radiation. Search "geo-engineering" and you'll find out what the "chemtrails" are for.
