Funny stuff here:

This afternoon, as I was shopping the aisles of Kroger, I see this can in this strange little section, and it says "Heinz" "Spotted Dick" so, since my son was home with his 2 friends, I bought it ... brought it home, and threw it to them ... they fell out ...

just some fun with food.

Well, I love to cook. It is truly a way I express my love for people.

What's on the menu tonight, and just why do you like to cook?

at my house tonight:

Lemon Basil Chicken
(fresh lemon/basil, wine sauce)

Sauted Zucchini/Squash

Rice

(love rice)

This thread sounds great!

I have some extra fresh basil, too, left over from making pesto.

Maybe I'll make some grilled chicken and some Vietnamese summer rolls.

I also love to cook; it's a great stress reliever and a great way to express love to the family.

Tonight, we had roast beef, gravy, whipped mashed potatoes, carrots, and yorkshire pudding.

God, I love yorkies!!

Hey WOE,

Hope you are enjoying your wine and wonderful meal. PM me if I am not being nosy wondered how you email went from the thread the other day. Hugs to you and your special one is right around the corner

Where in the world is Bed ??, Wondering what delicious gourmet meal Bed made this weekend.

I made homemade fajitas, ( chicken, beef), veggie fajitas for me, homemade sprouted corn tortillas, and the works, pasta salad , and homemade coconut chocolate ice cream for dessert. Made copy cat Arizona tea too, was delicious. Then fell and couldn't really eat...:(

Now for my news please send good thoughts my way, never broke a bone in my life and don't need to start now. Fell on the stairs , twisted my ankle and possible collar bone or shoulder break. I know , I know I know..... bruised, swelling and intense pain everyone keeps telling me here to go to ER and know I will probably have to pain getting intense just don't want to and praying it is not broke. SO trying to take my mind of pain .

Oh dear, I do hope you're okay and nothing's broken. Please go get an x-ray soon, and an rx for the pain, as you'll hurt worse tomorrow.

The lemon basil chicken was very good. We enjoyed, had dinner with my son and his girlfriend, and the best part is that THEY cleaned the kitchen!
