Quoting: Accidental Stoner 691230You need to go see a doctor. You might need antibiotics or an operation. Best of luck to ya [link to en.wikipedia.org] "All severe GAS infections may lead to shock, multisystem organ failure, and death. Early recognition and treatment are critical" "relation to OCD..." i don't like going to go see the doctor. He a) costs $$, b) is all like "wtf why do you have that?" |
sunglassed woman User ID: 672392 United States 06/01/2009 06:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You have a condition that I have often had...especially when I was your age and younger. Your eustachian tube is blocked from mucus and/or a swollen tonsil. That's why you can't hear well. The hole in your tonsil is called a crypt and it's the result of an abcessed tonsil. That white crud is coming from the crypt. There's no sense in feeling as bad as you feel and you aren't going to get well very fast without antibiotics. You haven't mentioned if you have a fever or not, but if you have one, it's an indication that you have a strep infection. If so, to to the doctor ASAP. Strep can affect major organs. Otherwise, you still need to see the doctor for antibiotics. This will knock out the infection in your tonsil and/or inner/middle ear. Don't worry too much about an operation. Tonsils are seldom removed these days. Go to one of those minute clinics at Walgreen's etc if you don't have a regular doctor and lack money. The antibiotics will not be expensive and you will be feeling better in about 3 days. I hope this helps. And, follow my advice, please. the old mother hen sunglassed woman PS: There is a chance this is a virus rather than a bacterial infection, but you need a medical professional to screen you to make sure the infection is not bacterial. If it is viral, antibiotics won't help. But, believe me, having suffered from this condition way too many times, it's a literal pain and can be dangerous if left unattended. |

I haven't been able to hear out of my left ear for like the past 5 days. my tonsils swell up and like i think it blocks that drain tube or something. Earlier in the night i coughed non-stop for like an hour straight. Once in a while i'm getting like an influx of mucus and i keep having to blow my nose. i've been downing ibuprofen like it's candy and started a regimen of HUMAWORM and Zicam. I've had hot honey/lemon juice water a couple times in the past couple days, but it only helps for like 45 minutes then it seems to swell back up or something. Oh, and little white things keep coming out of my tonsils every couple weeks if i suck hard... and then there is a hole left in the tonsil where the little white thing used to be. I"M GOING TO HAVE A CIG. (I thought i wasn't supposed to get sick if i smoked?) -A/C simple you have an infection , excersize plenty, eat well, suppliement amino acids and minerals/vitamins, familiarise urself with avoid toxins and you will be healthy for the rest of your life |

Keep your neck warm when you sleep, with a lightweight neck scarf. Also do not drink milk or eat milk products at night. I'll bet a dollar you don't floss everyday, you should. Also, see an acupuncturist, the chi isn't moving around right. You may also have a psychic condition involving a 'horrible truth' that you are stopping yourself from speaking about. Or a lot of anger that you hold inside (you may not even be consciously aware of it.) Also, your adrenals are exhausted. There, twenty years of wisdom and experience. |

I also like it because it puts faith in the ability of our own bodies to take care of themselves. How much vit. Anonymous Coward User ID: 692467 United States 06/01/2009 01:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Put 3 drops of hydrogen peroxide in each ear. Let it fizz. Take 2 drops of oregano oil in a teaspoon of olive oil twice a day. Dribble to back of throat so it doesn't 'burn' so badly. Drink lots of water. Take 5,000 units of vitamin D-3. And 2,000 units of Vitamin C once every two hours until you feel better. You may find that the hydrogen peroxide does the most extreme work, making you feel better almost instantly. You can add more HP if you feel it is needed. Your body will evaporate it rather quickly. The oregano oil is the second most potent. It is the 'poor man's' Sambucal, which also will kill most anything you have contracted, but it is expensive. Then, for long term care, you might want to research and take MMS. Happy health! |

I am in the medical field as well as nutritional field and I believe most things can be healed by taking natural supplements...what you have like the other guy said is a "crypt" in your tonsils. You could very well have strep throat which if left untreated could cause major organ damage. If your tonsils are that swollen, hurt, and your having problems with your ear, get to the dr. You most likely have an infection, could be viral could be bacterial...a quick visit to the dr. won't hurt, don't be stupid! |
