Re: I haven't filed a tax return for 30 years. Ask me any question.
if i was a gov shill, i wouldnt openly admit the systems have many corruptions...

all large systems in all industrialized and modern nation do .

so do we just go around and wish for all the systesm to collapse, because there are corruptions in them and forgo the many benefits [ some life saving} of such systems ?

as soon as someone comes up with a system ,that will function just as good, with less corruptions..count me in...

until then...I will continue to expose just how un-thought out many peoples new systems would be.

your position speaks of a mentality that waits for some external force to solve the problem and to replace it. True change starts from personal change (within). Be the change you want to see, eventhough it may look like it is not changing. Pick the berries from the bush one at a time. And watinig for an external savior is a trap. True change starts WITHIN. Instead of only challening other people's ideas on alternatives, why don't you spend your time looking for ways to improve your personal life, this would benefit both yourself and all of humanity on many levels (since I believe that all of humanity are one and equal and connected, that any change made personally helps others, whether they know it or not).

good! then you are like me :) continually searching for higher truth, expansion of mind, i believe that attachment (to money, to stuff, etc. etc.) causes all suffering and degradation. Being open to change seems to attract alternatives that I've never considered before... which to me is a good thing for us all, if I personally open a gateway to ideas that I once thought were impossible and find they they actually are possible, that opens a gateway for others to do the same (regardless of past belief patterns), it allows for self-perpetuating change, true change. A few years ago I use to think everything was impossible, I've been dumbfounded and personally humbled on many occasions since, there really is a lot more going on than a few limited beliefs that we were taught growing up, there really is

Re: I haven't filed a tax return for 30 years. Ask me any question.
Nature has little to do with it. Are you speaking about ants?, Caribou?, Wolves?, a skunk?, You seem to be implying that capitalism mimics nature. Cannot agree at all.

Yes I understand that your labor is yours, and anyone who steals it or tricks you or manipulates you or exploits you, even a bit, for their own personal benefit, is bad. Now we could discuss who is doing this. And many volumns have been written on it. Wars have been fought over taxation without representation. And what does representation mean exactly? It is that you the benefits flow back to your community, not you personally, but to you and everybody else. If it was just they take and you get back exactly what you contributed, What would be the point? No it;s for community improvement, it;s for things an individual cannot do by himself. That is what govt is supposed to do.

And deflation is not necessarily where everyone prospers because prices are cheaper. It comes about by less demand, brought on by less disposible income, money, compensation, cashola or whatever you want to call it, caused by an economic collapse, layoffs, unemployment, underemployment, reduced wages, and so on... the supply needs to match a falling demand so prices should fall with it.

The BELIEF of hyperinflation assumes alot of things but one principal assumption is that the dollar will crash in relation to other currencies. So as a European, I;ll be in heaven when the dollar crashes. But wait a minute, my economy depends on exports and the US consumer,,,, who isnt there to buy our produce. So now my currency will have to fall with yours. So if all currencies are falling, is any currency devaluing? Nope. So no hyperinfation.

This isnt Weimer, this is the 1930s all over again....

---
Nature... that's a good place to start.

Tell ya what. WRITE "one cup of coffee" on a piece of paper, boil it, and have a sip. What's that got to do with nature you say? Go sit in the woods and think about it.

I oppose taxation without consent. I need no "representative" to speak for me.

Inflation/deflation, regardless of the integrity of the money, is a product of the free market... you know, supply and demand?

When you can define the term "dollar" for me correctly, return, and have a seat.

Until then, you are dismissed.
 Quoting: Pyrate

Who in nature, buys a bag of coffee beans from some third world country, transported by boat to your convenience store? Did that ever enter your contemplations as the squirrels gathered their nuts?

And you dont want representation, just consent. Well some people do want ideal representation (as I defined it), and do consent to that ideal. They do not consent to corruption and diversion of their hard earned money elsewhere. Do they? Well some are happy about wars, for whatever deluded fanatsy, But hardly anyone is happy for misuse of these funds away from the community. But you want freedom to consent. And that is exactly what you have. Isnt it? But my question is: do you consent to anything? Or is ANY collective endeavor inconsistent with your idea of freedom? If it is then I dont agree with you.

Again you ask me to define something, yet you dont define >>indirectly<<, as how many govt workers contribute to wealth. Come up to the plate OP and stop lecturing.

I already defined money, not a dollar. A dollar is a simply unit of currency, the US, Canada, Australia, and a couple of others. Using a decimal system, ie 100 cents to a dollar. it is elementary my dear Watson. Money, on the other hand, as I was responding to another post about its HISTORICAL definition (still in effect), is exactly as I have said. That definition is distinct from DEBT and INTEREST and all the simpleton tricks to make you pay more (theft) and staggered over time (slavery), that the financial system depends. You havent explained to me your objection. And I am still waiting...

Tell me where all this money is that they are creating out of thin air? Where is it? The lenders (banks) are holding some of the so called money at the federal reserve, on account, a digital number, so that they can legally function, and stay afloat. Some of it is definately being paid out to people who dont deserve it, ie risk takers who should lose their bad investments, ie if the banks went bankrupt. Here it is on a platter.

The term "dollar" is a unit of measure.

The symbol indicating a "dollar" was created by superimposing a "U" over an "S".
(The bottom connector was dropped)

As with any other unit of measure, the term dollar is specific to a substance... ie; gallon/liquid... volt/electricity... pound/weight.... get it?

A "dollar" of money is 375.25 grains of .999 fine silver.

No milk? No gallon.

No electricity? No volts.

No chunks of rubbish? No pounds.

No silver? No money.

Get it?

We're not talking rocket science. It's a VERY simple understanding of the application of terms.

Doubt me... argue with me... call me nuts.... whatever. Facts are facts.

I dare ya... prove me wrong.

The "money" is nothing but data... zeeeerows and wons.

It's an illusion... smoke and mirrors... not even dust in the wind.

Mainstream news sources say the level of debt is now over 500k per household... GOT THAT? Half a MILLION...

Take a look at just the funded national debt... what, 10 TRILLION?

How much "cash" (PAPER money) exists? 700 billion + or - according to the BOEP.

Got a calculator handy?

Geezus H. P. Diddly Keeryst man... What's wrong with you?

The paper money is worthless, and there's trillions more zeeerows and wons floating around.

I already told you it was a unit of measure. So fucking what? And money is paper material with trust attached to it, to take on the function of a means of exchange, just like you want SILVER or GOLD to be. So fucking what? Tell me what is the difference between SILVER and shells, or fancy paper as money? NOTHING! That seems to escape you. You have FAITH in SILVER, as many have with bills. Neither is wrong as far as what money is, as long as people have that faith and exchanges can take place.

You want to make a point about fractional reserve banking, I suppose. Not about defining money. You want to talk about DEBT, I imagine. Not what a fucking dollar is. You want to criticize an increasing money supply that is NOT in step with productivity and population growth. So why dont you just say what you mean, OP?

Re: I haven't filed a tax return for 30 years. Ask me any question.
Doubt me... argue with me... call me nuts.... whatever. Facts are facts.

I dare ya... prove me wrong.

World trade as it has evolved through globalization involves corporations looking for the cheapest labor and concessions from natl govts. This system under the rubric of comparative advantage has thus far meant the US is the main importer of products. The debt driven financial system is integral to this system, US consumers need to consume way beyond their means. Places like China with huge surpluses in trade buy Treasuries denominated in US dollars, they have no other choice. And everyone that has trade surpluses withe the US buys US treasuries for the same reason. That is who is lending money. The US issues these treasury notes and foreign govts buy them. And these countries have to buy treasuries (lend to the US govt) if they want to continue to exporting to the US...

Now remember the benefits are many to the foreign govts. Companies produce, make profits, people are paid wages, and govts get taxes from those wages, and they get a happy population that isnt starving or thinking of rebellion...
