Hey, dope-head, get with the facts. The ozone layer was disappearing, there is still a hell of a lot of damage and it was only because those who understand science, like me, took action and this resulted in a dramatic cut globally of the ozone-damaging chemicals that the ozone is no longer as vulnerable as it was.
But be under no illusion that this is still an issue and there is still mega damage that will take a very long time to repair. Quoting: Witness_

May be Chem trails are radiation shields to help reduce the warming caused by that big fucking ball of fire in the sky.
Shit may be it's this big ball of fire that is causing the warming rather than the 0.0001% increase in CO2.
The solar constant has remained normal since measurement from 1978 to present. The only thing that has changed is the aerosol constant. Hydrology is the only process large enough to drive global climate change, not green house gasses which have a neglible effect as compared to artificial chemtrail cloud cover. Global warming is real but is man-made by white jets spraying chems in the atmosphere...and not by CO2.
Well how come all the planets are warming up and how come I get sun burnt in 10 minutes but yet when I was a kid I could spend all day in the sun, also I remember when the sun was a nice yellow ball now it's an intensely bright white thing.

The denialist industry ($10,000 per "denialism in a scientific paper", $2,500;/day "consulting for Richard Lindzen", over $165,000 in consulting fees for Pat Michaels of U. of VA who got caught double-dipping salary and "retired", and on and on) has largely been sponsored by the fossil fuel industry with over $25,000,000 to date from Exxon-Mobil alone.

A few pages back, someone questioned that only 3% of climatologists PUBLISHING on global warming believed that it was NOT attributable to human activities, particularly the release of CO2. Thus 97% of scientists actively publishing on global warming think anthropogenic global warming AGW is occurring.

It's simple enough.
Big Carbon has poured Billions into paying off scientist to pretend nothing is happening and downplay the damage done. Their business depends on it. (So this is no big shock. The oil and coal companies are out to make money and don't really care if they hurt future generations to do it.)
They found 650 "scientists" to go an express some displeasure with various theories regarding climate change?
That is not hard you know, in fields as varied as geology (Which doesn't view the climate as the climate, but that small negligible effect that changes in a blink of the geologic eye...) to physics (which should know better, but bad physicists are also known to hunt for the best dollar value at times.) to psychology...
In this same group, for the same money already paid, I could find 80% that would gladly come out claiming the Earth is not round! (And convince most of the remainder of this!)*
It is the same with this group. This is a propaganda move by big money interests.
No one seems to remember back in the seventies and eighties when science was requiring decades of work to be done before they took a stand and no government was buying in at all, do they?
This was the embattled and hard fought theory that proved out. Fighting through the Oil company flak to try and get at the truth.
The only thing that has changed is the reliability of the propaganda and how well they can manipulate your minds.
*The Earth is a roughly spheroid shape with irregular balance. It isn't round. But that is semantics to most people. A LOT of the scientists involved in this propaganda are using similar semantics to justify their cooperation with something ultimately wrong.
And all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "save us!"

I think it's the sun that's affecting our whole solar system more than anything we're doing, although I think it's pretty obvious that there are more people on the planet than the planet can continue to support.
Whether this is due to our position in the galaxy, the photon belt, or even Nibiru, or all of the above, I don't know. I can tell you with certainty, though, that the sun I see in the sky is not the sun that I saw when I was a kid. Definitely. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 691795
I agree the that the sun is whiter and hotter now and I to as a child could look at the yellow sun.
If the sun is getting whiter from yellow, then it implies the energy level is increasing and the solar system is getting warmer.
If the energy level is increasing then the wave length is shortening and heading towards the ultraviolet area.
If it continues or accelerates beyond known norms, then it will turn a dark pink, a light blue or dark blue.
