You do realize there IS NO POPULATION PROBLEM? The world can support many more people. Its our greed that makes us feel we are over populated. If mankind wanted to, RIGHT NOW noone would be hungry. RIGHT NOW everyone could have a place to live. There is thousands and thousands of acres of unused land and land that is wasted for purely commercial use.

That's why the oceans are almost fished out, because there's plenty of fish to feed billions more hungry mouths, right? The codfish industry in the north Atlantic collapsed in ONE generation. Many other species of fish have either gone extinct or are on the verge.
The run off from farms and sewers and industry has polluted the ocean to the extent that oxygen levels have decreased, and temperatures have increased. This promotes the growth of algae, and is contributing to an explosion of jellyfish, which are not only killing humans but killing fish as well, wiping out the entire stock of many fish farms.
The more people, the more cars, factories, and pollution. And the more poor, the more crime and a lower quality of life.
The more people, the more people who will be living in areas prone to floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunami's, and volcanoes. The more people, the more communicable diseases will spread and kill.
There is a sustainable level of population, and we are bulging at the seams now.
We don't NEED any more people thank you very much.
This problem will have to be addressed or Mother Nature will do it for us.
