Pink Floyd - Favorite song/album?
As of right now, my favorite song is "Dogs" (from Animals)

My favorite album overall is "The Wall"

It's really tough to choose a favorite anything by Pink Floyd because all their stuff is stellar!
I can listen to all their albums (all 14 of them) without having to fast forward or skip songs. Can't say that about any other band except for maybe The Doors.

Life without Pink Floyd is not a life worth living in my opinion.

Nice post. I'm going w/Echoes right now, too but it's subject to change depending on mood (that's why PF absolutely rules!).

For me would be their tribute to George Orwell's 'Animal Farm'.

Got "Meddle" on the cd rotation now for over 1 month. Gotta go with that and "One of these days" as favorite song.

The Wall was probably the best though overall, with the movie and all.

When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand.

Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!"

It certainly was the most contentious amongst the members, with the late Rick Wright having been treated like a dog and sidelined by Waters...but somehow the whole thing was pulled-off flawlessly and is now one of the greatest classics of all times!
