they speak of the negative energy, yes as attachment and living with your emotions as the leader of actions; but i have also learned that demonic and negative spirits get attached to the energic vibration in our emotions and negative thoughts, feeding of them and influencing more of them so it makes sense that when we are experiencing very negative emotions we would attract specific amounts of spirits to us. and I think this is also partly why it is encouraged to work on the mind and body and emotional attachment to people places & things as this creates suffering coming from the pain and frustration of these same negative emotions. I don't know what God is and I don't plan to know anytime soon.
