Satan is the collective mortal children of Lucifer, their Father. In that sense, they are "princes" and "princesses" of this world, the very children of TPTW. I think it seems true that it is easy to see darkness/evil in another.. do feel it is the Truth we have a hard time seeing this same quality in ourselves..
Consider the parable regarding the folly of focusing on the 'speck' in thy neighbor's eye.....
in my opinion, i haven't seen any honest opposition, but rather the usual 'hostile baiting' veiled in sincerity.
there really is an amazing quality in sincerity, but don't really see that kind of expression often.
