I think it seems true that it is easy to see darkness/evil in another.. do feel it is the Truth we have a hard time seeing this same quality in ourselves..

It does feel that when people are hurting other people that is when they hurt themselves, eventually, by such sins.
So it seems then that if we do not hurt other people, then one does not need to be so afraid of the Judgement from Jesus Christ, or that it doesn't hurt to ultimately treat thy neighbor as you would yourself like to be treated.
sometimes it seems we are so dysfunction, that our history and perspective even, that it's amazing what people may have come to believe in how oneself wants or should be treated.
that seems like a big sad point for humanity if this is the case.

If you'll notice, the "Rainbow" defines the full spectrum of human development. This is the same symbol represented by the Great Pyramid, in whose four sides taper in integration to ultimately fuse together and stabilize the first four Chakra sets of the Human spirit. The same goes for the notions of "Earth, Wind, Fire and Water" as shown in the "5th Element" the movie.
What this is all saying is that the development and maturing of the human spirit has to do with the progressive development and integration of these spirit elements within the individual spirits. To do so requires many reincarnational lifetimes utilizing the 4 races to which the video addresses. Each of the 4 races has a different major focus upon each of these four base chakras, each utilized as tools to aid in the maturing of human spirits.

Think of the people you know who have an easy life, enough money, no problems, good looks, a great marriage....
You think they are so lucky?
Not really.
They are just "simple" - they cannot take any pressure, so they are not given it.
The ones who suffer a lot, they are the ones with the potential to grow.
If you think the world is just what we see here on earth, there there is no way you will ever understand suffering. This world, and our experiences in it, and how we react, is the gateway to the next world. Thru suffering and growing, (and dying) we make it to a better place.
Believe it, or else you will spend a lifetime of suffering about your suffering. Once you understand that suffering is a blessing in disguise, it won't bother you so much.

Recently saw Angels and Demons.. that huge egyptian obelisk, with the cross affixed to the top, in the middle of St. Peter's square seemed pretty bizarre.
in the movie i think it had hieroglyphics inscribed on the surface. i read it is smooth. probably nothing but was interesting why that was added.. also what's the story do you think with having such an 'old school' monument in such a 'new school' religion again?
