There's also a lot of mention in the Bible about a "star" at the time of his birth - one that was followed by wise men from India, Egypt and Africa. Without long distant communication about the circumstance of this sky anomaly, why did these wise men just decide to up and leave the3ir homeland unless it was an unusually exceptional star, like a mothership?

I always thought, when he said he was THE SON OF MAN, that meant he came from our future. To be our son, he would have to be a descendant.

Son of Man could literally be a descendant of the people Jesus lived among. That's a great thought and I agree with you about not being on his level at this point in time but maybe we'll evolve to his level in the future at which time we may even have access to time travel. He did say we could attain everything that he had attained.

There's so many ways to interpret scripture and perhaps Son of Man only means he has the same genetic blueprint as earthlings but doesn't necessarily hail from this planet.

I really don't know. Just wanted to throw a few ideas out there. I appreciate your input. I never looked at it that way.

most people dont know he was a schizophrenic and his followers were mostly people that were overly paranoid, really gullable and he also had a couple of lesbians too. i rolled around with him one night and it was pretty cool until he started ramblin off some bullshit about he was the son of god but i knew it was just his schizo so i lit of joint to relax and he took a couple hits and wigged out but i didnt really pay attention to him. it was straight and the next morning before i left one his buddy's hooked me up with some pretty good mushrooms for the journey home, it was a trip within a trip, pretty cool.
