Anyone else having problems with Verizon DSL?

Hey folks, just trying to figure out if this is local or not. Over the past few days, the wireless connection at my house has been very slow (my house uses Verizon DSL for our ISP). Today the connection has been almost non-existent. I just got back from a friend's house who also uses Verizon DSL and I couldn't connect at all at her place. Like I said, just trying to find out if this a local issue or not. BTW, this is in Upstate NY, about and hour and a half SW of Syracuse near the PA border.
