Anonymous Coward User ID: 698333 United States 06/09/2009 11:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think the idea that some group sneaks in the middle of the night to create these huge, perfect shape crop circles is just ridiculous. And anyone who dismisses all the facts are morons. All the facts that I'm not even mentioning. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 697075Anyone who actually farms hay or grain fields knows that it would be impossible to create these complex patterns in the dark, without any signs of activity and without leaving any traces behind and without actually breaking the stems. Sheesh. It's hard enough to do a nice clean job of getting the crop mowed and put up in the broad daylight with all kinds of tractors and attachments. That's exactly my point, and why I think that anyone who thinks that some group will come out in the middle of the night and create these complex drawings, so perfectly is a moron, because they are quickly coming to that conclusion without considering all of the factors. I don't know who does them, but you have to factor all the facts in. I'm looking at some crop circle pictures, and the shapes are so perfect that they must have been done on a computer on basically printed by a machine. That's the simplest way I can put it. It would be probably impossible for an artist to hand draw them perfectly, with all the sides being equal, and perfectly spaced out, much less a bunch of losers who have nothing to do in the middle of the night than to sneak into a pitch dark field. |

But if you look at that crop circle, I bet each of those circles are perfect circles, and they are all probably the exact distance apart within an inch. You're telling me some people snuck in the middle of the night and did that? |

Consider the air bubbles coming from the mouths of each. The other possibility (there are many) is fish brought upon the land: [link to www.youtube.com] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 688990 United Kingdom 06/09/2009 12:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why no circles in the north of england, why are they all down south? The reason is obvious, they can't make them at all, but have to claim they did wherever they appear. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 697760Yes it is obvious. South of England is agricultural region, North is industrial. Agriculture = large fields. Better canvas in the South all round, crop circles slot in neatly with other art forms practiced on the land. --> [link to abrax7.stormloader.com] . Very lame excuse. Loads of farms in the north of england, and what about scotland and wales. No farms there i suppose? |

These are always so intricate and perfect though and always the fact that the stems are bent and not broken is something that is near impossible to achieve man made. |

watcher User ID: 652858 United States 06/09/2009 12:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I always thought Peter Gabriel had a prophetic sense about him...I dunno... "Here Comes The Flood" When the night shows the signals grow on radios All the strange things they come and go, as early warnings Stranded starfish have no place to hide still waiting for the swollen Easter tide There's no point in direction we cannot even choose a side. I took the old track the hollow shoulder, across the waters On the tall cliffs they were getting older, sons and daughters The jaded underworld was riding high Waves of steel hurled metal at the sky and as the nail sunk in the cloud, the rain was warm and soaked the crowd. Lord, here comes the flood We'll say goodbye to flesh and blood If again the seas are silent in any still alive It'll be those who gave their island to survive Drink up, dreamers, you're running dry. When the flood calls You have no home, you have no walls In the thunder crash You're a thousand minds, within a flash Don't be afraid to cry at what you see The actors gone, there's only you and me And if we break before the dawn, they'll use up what we used to be. Lord, here comes the flood We'll say goodbye to flesh and blood If again the seas are silent in any still alive It'll be those who gave their island to survive Drink up, dreamers, you're running dry. |

As we were flying to photograph the recent Chiseldon formation, we took the opportunity to check the reports out. The formation appears to be 250-300ft in diameter.
