It is quite a simple task to prove to yourself without a doubt that...

1. Sky is blue on Mars
2. They alter colors like a big dog

Take a picture of the martian rovers that they took on Earth before it launched. On board, it has a color wheel. Those fucken idiots put a color wheel on the rover. Fucken stupid thing to do if you want to alter the colors. Anyone can use that to calibrate the photochopped colors and correct any alterations.

To do this, take another picture of the rover on mars that shows this color wheel. You will notice the wheel is muddy, desaturated, and heavily weighted into the red channel. You can actually use the other 2 channels to correct, but the easiest way is to shift the colors on the mars pic until the color wheel matches what you see from the pic tyaken on Earth.

Do this, and you will see a landscape that looks just like the Arizona desert... with all the colors of a normal ground. Blue granite looking rocks, other colors, and yes lots of red on the ground. But the air will be sky blue like you are in Arizona. Try it for yourself.

Here you go, someone else did the same work... very easy to replicate...

I have some issues.

First the photograph on the far-right (the one with the "color-corrected boxes" and the different colored "wire-thing") shows no images of a color-corrected martian sky. That matters because the point of this debate is whether or not the true state of the martian sky is being covered-up. This could amount to inconsistencies in NASA-decals which...doesn't keep me awake at night.

Also... I have neiher the time nor the inclination to go about attempting to alter the colors on rover-photographs on my own. I have no idea how.

However, you have to ask yourself (you really have to ask yourself) if the NASA-people are intent on altering Mars-photos, why would they neglect something as elementary and obvious as...that?

I'm no right-winger. I have no shame admitting I'm a committed socialist and have no love for this country or it's government or its government's organizations, but when making accusations of stupidity against people like the dorks at NASA you have to take into consideration you're talking about people who've... basically, successfully flown a scooter to Mars.

They're Pencil-Pushing Nerds but they're not dummies. I fail to see how a detail (if you could even call it a "detail", it's not like the "color-wheel" is exactly inconspicuous) like that could get by. Particularly considering how much credit certain people give them for being so secretive.

Never mind "photographic" evidence (you know keep in mind your boy there could have altered the colors from the NASA originals into his own...colors) you didn't comment on any of my arguments. Dust storms? Lack of stars-being-f'd-with? Lack of liquid water?

One thing I definetely don't see in any of the photographs in your link is liquid water.
