And it fell almost 5 cents a litre here in the last week since last friday when I filled up
($1.54 a litre to $1.49)

I admit I long for the days when I first my P plates- it was only 32c a litre then (that was in the mid 80's)

Great title change, TLR!

As for Max, debunkers right as ever. Max wrong again. It's the 16th. Greece defaulted but nothing dire happened as a result. Nobody nuked anyone, no wars started, none of the doom he hoped for came. Clif is now cutting his losses in the face of yet another failure and is auctioning off his "data" and hopefully going into retirement (I'll believe that when I see it - he seems to like the big fish in a small pond kind of "fame" he has grown accustomed to, and the money.).

Has anyone checked out the "main establishment lies" page on the Poleshift ning? It's pretty funny.

"If you do intend to embrace any main establishment lies you will be suspended without any explanation. REASON paid debunking teams can completely disrupt discussion, as has occurred elsewhere."

And the "establishment lies" include:

# The Extinction Protocol blog/site (an arm of the cover-up, servicing the Establishment),
# Dutchsinse videos (he is a debunker),
# Project Camelot,
# HAARP,
# Illuminati,
# Invasion by extraterrestrials,
# planetary alignments; the "galactic plane",
# "global warming",
# "climate change"; La Nina; El Nino
# and/or comets (including Comet Elenin).

Yes, and "2012" also USED to be one of those, because it was an alleged ruse to keep people from preparing for the pole shift in time, because "2012 is too far out"- or it WAS, according to Nancy. Whoops!

and I am happy that ours has DROPPED to $5.97 a us gallon

no wonder all your cars can be gas guzzlers, we are paying almost double what you are for petrol, and many ozzies have long drives to boot (my personal commute has dropped recently with starting a new job, but at my older job I had a 60km drive each way to work- thats 37 miles each way 5 days a week

If a car gets less than 25/30 mpg in us terms (we use L per 100km here for fuel usage) i.e. 10l/100km which is is what you would expect from a 4wd toyota diesel hilux for example, about 7l/100km for a 4 cylinder) then it would either be a restored `weekend warrior' or other forms of transportation taked if possible, noone could afford to spend that much in fuel getting to work

Re: Debunker Talk LIVE Chat 24/7 - A debunker's paradise!!
It's gone up 55 cents in the past two weeks here. I'm contemplating getting rid of my Toyota 4Runner because I have a 45 mile commute each way. The 4Runner gets around 17 mpg highway which requires me to fill up every four days. That runs me $75...or about $450 a month (almost a quarter of my monthly salary) or $5,412 a year. I've thought about getting a 2012 Honda Civic that gets 39 mpg. Since it only has an 11.5 gallon tank (compared to 25 in the 4Runner), I'd still have to fill up every four days. BUT, it would only cost me about $35 each time...or $213 a month. HALF of what I'm paying now. So, even if my monthly car payment went up $50 to $75 a month, I'm still coming out ahead by at least $100 a month. I keep hoping I'm going to find an IT (systems admin or network admin) here where I live. For one thing, jobs here in Colorado Springs pay about 20% more than they do down in Pueblo (where I currently work) AND I wouldn't have that long commute. My wife and I might even be able to carpool in her car which gets 23 city/33 highway. Unfortunately, a majority of the major employers in Colorado Springs have ties to the military and, therefore, require a security clearance. Right now, they're only interested in hiring people who already have such clearance since it costs money for them to get you one if you don't have it. I've applied for the same job with the county (where my wife works) ten times and they won't even give me an interview...even though I'm doing the same job in Pueblo County. And for that job I only had to apply once and landed it. Go figure.

Something doesnt add up here C.B.
the 4runner (which is what a hilux is called over there) a 4x4 right?
thats what I have- a 4x4 hilux (mine is a single cab with aluminium tray on its back fitted with the 2.4 diesel and 5 speed manual) mine gets 10L/100 km- I know because the fuel guage doesnt actually work, so I reset the trip meter every time I fill up (near enough to $100 a tank) and I get just over 550 kilometers a tankfull before running out

so basically my diesel hilux gets 23mpg which is a lot better than your 4runner is getting, in fact my town cycle is equal to your city cycle for the same car- and mines twenty years old....

What doesn't add up? The 4Runner is a V8 that uses regular gas...not diesel. If you look at the ratings for the V8 4Runner, it gets 16 to 17 mpg highway.

v8?? toyota 4 runner??

must be an american export only then, they certainly dont come with v8's here or in south africa

must be using the lexus v8 then, afaik thats the only v8 in the toyota range

we get 4cyl diesel (intercooled turbo in the new toyotas, mine only gets the naturally aspirated diesel but its 20 yrs old) the 4 cyl petrol or the v6 petrol

in fact v8's in any form are pretty slim on the grounds thesedays, they havent been big sellers since the 1970's

Ford and GMH both have v8's in their ranges, but its a pretty small market these days, mostly either in the $40000+ `sports' playtoys, or the statesmans/ltd luxury cars (and a lot of those are 6cyl as well)

4 cylinders are the norm in the small and medium sized cars, with 6 cylinders in the larger `family' cars like the dunnydoors and the falcons and 4wd's, altho most 4wd are diesels and have been for the last decade or more

Look - I'll have you know, that for the second day in a row I am outside in 80 degree temperatures in MARCH. "Normal" for this time of year is the 40s. The extended forecast for the remainder of the month into April is for temps not to go below 60. It has already been the warmest Winter ON RECORD, and now it is shaping up to be the warmest Spring. All this while other parts of the planet are experiencing record cold and snowfalls.

SOMETHING IS WRONG.

Clif calls it "Sun Disease", and I suspect that NASA and the black ops guys know what is really happening, and are not telling us. Meanwhile, the sheeple are just "happy" they can start their garden early, and hit the golf course in shorts on St. Patrick's Day.

Cheapest in town is now $3.75 USD - I've seen it as high as $4.05 doing my little drive (200 miles one way) between where I work and where my house is (only do that drive once or twice a month).

As for gas mileage, my 2009 Nissan Frontier (V6/six speed) gets around 20 MPG on the highway and about 19 MPG around town. That truck is sort of a necessity considering how much stuff I've hauled around in the three years I've owned it. It's predecessor, a 2004 Frontier (4 cyl/five speed) got better mileage but was a dog trying to haul a trailer around.
